NEHS Teramatik HR 23B – TD1

The digital electronic heating regulator Teramatik D1 is the complete solution for comfortable heating systems along with hot water heating.
It adjusts the boiler temperature to suit underfloor heating or radiators.
The TD1 is very adaptable and can be used for all heating systems in combination with weather controls through a mixing valve.

Your heating system is always in contact with the weather outside. It works on a sensor basis, of which there are three in total. One outside on a north facing wall and one inside the house, both of these read the ambient temperature and the third is on the flow pipe which is connected to the underfloor heating or Radiator circuit. All three sensors relay their current temperature readings on average every 60 seconds and there fore a Set point for the underfloor Heating or Radiator circuit is established.
                                   An example is as follows ;

If it is outside on a Monday morning the Teramatik controller would release 35° - 37° into the underfloor heating or radiators, however, if the following morning the temperate outside was 10° the TD1 controller would only release 25° - 27° temperatures to the heating system.
Therefore with such accurate temperature readings your boiler will not be running for longer lengths of time than needed and therefore will provide huge savings on your fuel bills.
