About Oil Boilers- How Condensing system Works

The Turco Oil Boiler comes with a 5 year warranty on its heat exchanger, one year on the Boiler/ burner and SEDBUK  A 97% efficiency rating

The boiler also comes with a Bentone Burner which has been proven to be very reliable worldwide.

On standard oil boilers the flue exits at temperatures from 200°/260°, however with a condensing boiler the flue gases are allowed to pass through a secondary stainless steel heat exchanger which is positioned on top of the boiler.  This heat exchanger is filled with water allowing the hot gases more time to transfer to the heating system.  One of the by products is condensate, which collects in a specific area and runs to a trap on the boiler, and from there to a drain.

The results are:

1. Increasing temperature of the return water to the boiler from the house which means that the boiler will reach its set temperature quicker.
2. Converting some of the gases in to this bi-product – Condensate
3. Lowering the flue gases to 80° C by efficiently using all the heat to increase the temperature of the water system.
