This much is certain: The sun won’t send you
a bill. Solar energy is free and effective – even if in general you complain
about the weather in these parts. Solar systems with their powerful
collectors and matched system components can save on average 50 to 60% of
the energy used for DHW heating each year. During the summer, the solar
energy can even meet the entire demand for DHW heating. This dramatically
reduces the oil and gal costs and takes you one step further away from
fossil fuel dependency.
Solar panels are not only suitable for DHW heating, but also as backup for
your central heating. During the interim period, the solar system can
support the central heating system. This considerably reduces your oil and
gas consumption.
A lower inclination is more favourable if the collector surface cannot be
pointed south. A solar collector system with a 30-degree inclination and an
alignment of 45 degrees southwest sill achieves almost 95% of its optimum
yield. Even with an east of west alignment, you can sill expect up to 85%
with a roof slope between 25 and 40 degrees.
The heating system that loves the environment
Even when it comes to environmental compatibility solar heating systems are
on the sunny side of the street: On average, in a detached house, about
three quarters of a tonne less carbon dioxide (CO2) is produced.
Future-proof in any case
Solar systems are distinguished by their high operational safety and long
service life. Collectors are made of corrosion and UV resistant materials.
A Heating system that gives something back
You don’t only save on the running costs – various subsidies are available
for energy efficient and environmentally friendly heating technology. It is
important to update yourself with the information on the available grants
and to make timely applications. Important: the subsidy must be approved
before ordering your system. Up-to-date information can be found on
